First team win after second team forfeit

27-13 win and 10-0 loss

Confusion was the word of the day as Taunton Soul 2nd's had to forfeit their game against Bristol City before the 1st team overcame a slow start to win 27-13

After conceding 4 goals in the first 6 minutes to go 4-1 down the first team suddenly started to click scoring 10 of the next 11 before going into half time leading 14-7

Meg Collins scored all of her 4 goals in the first half on the way to winning MVP, whilst Gabriel Carrillo (6 goals) and David Hill (4 goals) continued their blossoming partnership with Dave also winning MVP.

Tom Mclaren continued where Meg had left off scoring an incredible 6 goals in the second half alone (9 in total).

Ellie Kowalski (2 goals) and Kirsty Oatley (1 goal) completed the goal scorers.

Taunton head south again next week to play Exeter hoping the 2nd team can re-ignite their challenge for division 2 and the first can continue their recent good form.
